VisuEL Society is a team of professional artists on a mission to elevate one another and to change the way visual artists are viewed and valued. Our team seeks to accomplish this through performance art & creative enrichment activities.  

For the past year, we have been hosting live painting competitions in the DC area called: “Brush Battles.” Our unique event features artists going head to head, inspired by themed topics and surprise twists they must incorporate under time limits. The audience votes to determine the winning masterpiece.  Our Brush Battles have gained the attention of local artists and supporters who have been instrumental in helping us reach our goals. 

We are currently in the first season of our Tournament – where local contestants have an opportunity to leave their mark and be crowded "Brush Battle Champ!"
