Love Decoded:  This is part 2 of my take on Paul Revere’s ride. Being a man of color and growing up in the inner city puts a strain on the relationship with police. I have countless stories of the pain and disrespect I have received over the years.

There is a reason the community doesn’t speak to police. It has less to do with being afraid the suspect will come after them and more to do with not giving the police a reason to mess with others in the community.

Community love is key to our safety from those who wish to harm us from the outside or from within. Love can protect if you trust it.
