Love on Fire
Colors: Honoring the Philly Flyers who taught me to set the ice on fire.
- Apology for the past: To the ones who held and hold residence in my heart and set it ablaze: I apologize for not feeding the Flame. Forgive me for my words or actions that may have caused the ember to dim or go out. I apologize for the times fear had me focusing on surviving rather than you. Know that I wish only to heal with you because we are on the same team and are one and the same.
- Thanks for the present: Thank you for teaching my heart to smile. It was your burning desire that kept me warm on the coldest nights. You’ve taught me a lot about what heals me and others. It is because of you that my eyes glow in the darkest of days.
- Pledge for the future: It is my pledge to listen with my whole heart to your needs. I will bring wood in the form of words and actions to keep the fire burning. When the ember weakens, I will seek counsel to aid in its growth. I will never give up on the bond and carry a heart of forgiveness.
